artist ROBERT M. HILTON
Robert is a Phoenix, AZ artist with a long history of classical Fine Arts training from schools in Texas and Hawaii. But it wasn't until he adopted Arizona as his home that he discovered and perfected the unique style of abstract painting that has brought him critical praise in recent years.
"Many photographers will tell you that each place in the world has a unique ambient light that is as distinctive to that region as DNA is to human beings." Robert continues, "my paintings are abstractions of landscapes and still-life scenes using the palette of colors one can see in an Arizona sunset or in a field of wildflowers in the summer. This brings an emotional weight to the finished product.
"Robert is the Gallery Director at Esprit Decor Gallery in Phoenix where he also exhibits his work. Tapino is proud to have 3 of Robert's framed pieces on display in the wine bar of our Scottsdale restaurant.
